Open the i8kfangui program, see if you have rpm on BOTH fans. High speed is around 4000, low speed is around 2400-2900. Of course if it shows 0 the fan is off. LEFT fan sits over CPU. RIGHT fan sits over GPU.

Can Dell M90 use Audigy software that is available for the M1710? Does it improve the sound or is it just a bunch of sliders? Thanks

Nah, Im using it on M90 and it works fine. Just don't check the "enable hardware support" boxes or it will act flaky . Full functonality. Hasnt given me one bit of problem.

Anyone have a picture of the caddy installed in an m90 or XPS1710? Experiences with use in either of these systems? Thanks
