Dunno if this thread is dead but there are tons of people on these forums with the same problem. My sager started smoking today and same part of the mobo is burned as described by numerous others...

Problem is, I live in Slovakia and know noone here who has even heard of Sager before Hope that if i have to RMA it, the guys will do their best to save my data.

Hi. It's been 1.5 years since i bought my 9860 from you. It was excellent, apart from one dead pixel. Until today, when i was playing a game, some white smoke started coming from the back vent and 2 seconds later, the notebook shut off....
