Uh because changing ram timings is hard and doesnt do much good... you could get 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 ram timings and it would still run at what the bios sets it to run at.
Here are some super pi scores from all various cpu's from ocforums.com... as you can see, a 2.8 Dothan is beating my P4 at 4.84Ghz in this particular benchmark. The P-M is a great CPU, especially for laptops.
