Yes the adapters have been available for months from Asus, and only work in Asus 865/875 mother boards. Dothan/Sonoma's are the fastest CPU's on the planet.

My thoughts exactly. It is not cheap to get a new screen, but simple and inexpensive to upgrade ram.
It seems you did NOT use the modified .inf file. You must download the corresponding inf file and place it in the extracted driver directory prior to installing. Uninstall the drivers and reinstall with the modified inf file.
