The DIMM temp seems high... as does the CPU temp, but these cpu's can handle up to around 90C I think. Are the fans kicking on?

Yes but MY opinion is to use 2 sticks... dual channel even though most say it makes little difference, I would do 2x 512 or 2x 1GB...

Well my opinion is that the 9300 is very close to the XPS 2 in terms of performance, but with much less investment. If money were no object, sure go for the XPS 2, but since it is, the 9300 is a better choice IMO since it is very close....

My laptop games better than my desktop, specs of both in sig. You will NOT be disappointed at all. My recommendation is to get the 1.6 CPU, then do the pin mod (if you are good with computers) which will cost you about $10 and 2 hours....
