You want to check out Westinghouse 37", I think it comes in at your price range. I agree, bigger is better, but I also want higher res.

Wow, that's huge 28". But the case and base looks ugly to me. I prefer even the Dell 27" but it has no speakers. Don't know about quality. Have you check out Westinghouse, they have 30+ inches, a slightly lower res though.

You will definately want to call Dell spare parts to check on prices. Sometimes, ebay and those other retailers listed above are MORE expensive.
