The 8104 also has a PATA drive, the only slowdows you will get is doing serious editing while trying to burn CD's/DVD's since the HDD and CD/DVD share the same channel.

Darn 35W chip. There goes the battery life, its too bad that Turion did not live up to the possibility of besting centrino's battery life. We will just have to wait for reviews to see just how long it will last.

Hopefully it has the lower powered (as in wattage) Turion and sports a SATA drive instead of PATA. The wait is on.

Hmm, may be added to my choices btw 8104 / Z71V. It has the 15.4 aspect that I like and the x700 that I need. I just hope it comes with SATA drive and a multilayer burner.
