Normally an antenna for the miniPCI card should be a regular wire, with a fixed pre defined length. So once we know where we can put the antenna cable, the trick should be relatively easy. OK opening up a laptop is not that easy, but...

Hi Dan, had the same problem. Reboot the laptop and use F2 to get into the BIOS. At advanced I/O settings, set IR to IRDA (deafult is FIR), then it works just fine

Cool,... I have mine for a week no and am selling my desktop PC right now,... no need to have that anymore .... The 5660 is just awsome ... (could be a bit lighter though, and I would like a miniPCI wireless LAN card)
