are you running SP1 or SP2? That resolved all of my USB problems. Sorry on the standby issue, my 600m works fine.

happened on my 9100 as well, but it was only a month old. The battery just failed...one of those things

service pack 1 and greater will solve this..just install SP1 or SP2, remove the device, and reboot.

if you're not running at the native resolution of the display, it won't look very good. Try hooking up an external monitor, and I'd bet it looks great then. Just a downfall to using LCDs...

use a bootable cd or thumb drive

it doesn't bother me...and I type ~90 wpm on it.

edit the boot.ini file in the root of c: to remove the xp home reference. You will have to unhide your system files to do so.

My 600m showed up today. Not bad considering the mad rush to order laptops at $750 off!

I guess I should clarify...I already have an inverter and wanted to see if it was strong enough to power the 600m...and apparently it is...just barely, its an 85W.
