Ive had the 600m, 300m, and now D800 (close to the 8600) and to be honest, I like the D800 the most for "my applications." But the 600m is a nice balance between performance and traveling. It just depends on what you will use...

You can get somthing like that in stores these days, the only thing you might have trouble with is that 32/64mb video card...
