they cant check the ensemble models because they go straight from asus to them to the customer without being opened. on their build to order notebooks they do check.

i got it from proportable, the w3v does not have the asus warranty against dead pixels but honestly it doesnt bother me as much as i thought it would. the pixel is more 'stuck" on blue so if its anything but a dark background you...
