I have a T7600 CPU and when I have it running on high performance at 2.33GHz it idles in the 50-60C range while on full load in the 70-80C range. Temps vary according to my room temps as well. Keep in mind that it's in the m5750/m5790...
I use NHC, CoreTemp, Everest Ultimate, Intel TAT and Speedfan. All except Speedfan had similar readings with a difference of 1-2C. However; Speedfan somehow has readings that are on average like 10-15C lower than the other programs. So...
I only know one other person that has an Alienware(m5750) and other than him, that's it. I did see four m9750's and four Area-51 7500's at that Seagate Gaming Tour at a local mall.
