Service Manuals?

Has anyone tracked down service manuals for the 4080 (or anything in the series for that matter)? Clevo seems to have made it harder to extract things from their FTP server recently, and I'd love to see how this thing is put together without playing guessing games with a screwdriver on $2,000 of hardware. I beleive the Clevo product name for 4080 is D400E, but thats not turning up reserved service manuals on google like you get for the 5680.

Did you got to this site to try downloading?

http://www.clevo.com.tw/download/default.asp

I checked, the model you want is there.

Those are user manuals, like the one that comes with the laptop, i want a service manual like people have found for some other models with details on hardware and assembly. although that shows me their FTP syntax so i might be able to find it based on that...

I beg to differ, that's where I got my service manual.

Same problem here. I'd love to find the service manuals, specifically the explosion charts, but as clevo has increased the restrictions in their ftp site when you log in anonymously (you are not able to list the contents of it anymore) the chances of finding them "blind-navigating" the site and trying to guess the path/filename are... well... like the chances of winning lotto's first prize. Maybe Adam could help us on this matter, if sharing this manuals with end users doesn't violate any weird license agreement...

I poked at the URL, crafting from known files and adresses on the clevo server (or, if thats illegal under the DMCA or something, creatively mistyped). Direct access to the FTP server, even for files you'r allowed to get at (such as the user manuals) is blocked, it requires their server redirect you. becuase this http://www.clevo.com.tw/download/SRV...0V&menual=+GO+
does not get a file not found error i assume its the location, but i lack permissions, and im not sure what to do th forge them (or if i want to, clevo is a nice enough company and thats bordering on malicious)

same. i'm about to pop my new 4080 open and do the arctic silver thing, as well as get a fix on the specs and sizes of fans in this thing so i can replace them with something QUIETER...
it'd be nice to have some info before tearing this thing apart so i could do it all at once.

Desperate for a sevice manual for my CLEVO D470V (SAGER 4780), can someboy help, please? Have no pwd for Clevo's ftp site...
My current problem is the bluetooth adapter not being found by the software, I'm told due to a non configured m/b jumper. I would prefer to do it myself (suh an easy job!) rather than returning back the machine for repair.
Most grateful for any assistance.
