CaptainCheerios is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
doesnt fit on a flopy drive...........and now my systems bios doesnt detect the hd.......windows loads fine......cause well.......im on my laptop right now.............but i cant reformat it............reformatting tools dont detect it.......windows disk doesnt detect it........anyone got an idea to fix this

You did try the foppy link ? Did you hit F6 as soon as WinXP Setup asks at the bottom so you can load the RAID or ATA drivers from a floppy ? If the drives are not showing up in the BIOS then the connector is loose or the controller has gone bad.
