Conroe overclocked to 4.66GHz

A CHAP named Coolaler just posted the first benchmarks from a Conroe E6700 CPU overclocked from its default 2.66GHz to a mind-boggling 4601MHz.
This is almost a two-gig overclock and there is nothing much faster than that.

He used an MSI 975X MB 7246 motherboard and managed to get the FSB to run at 460MHz. He then multiplied it with a multiplier of ten. The nutcase used Corsair PC6400 memory running at 460MHz and had to use some super cooling mechanism but the details are short on which one.

You can check it out for yourself here. µ
