AlkalineX is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
The USB 2.0 ports opperating on USB 1.0 speed???!!

Every time I connect something to the usb , I get a small bubble form the task bar saying a Hi-speed device is connected to a non hi-speed bus.

I have an external hard drive, 200gb 7200 rpm, I tried to copy a 100 mb file from it to my desktop and it took 2.5 minutes! On my regular computer it takes only like 30 seconds!

HOw do I enable USB2.0 speed on my 4780?

DON"T CHANGE MY SIG ADAM, thats just being retarded ok?

As G-Omaha said. It says in the 5690 manual that you need XP Service pack 1/1a. Then you need to right click on My Computer Select Properties>Hardware>Device Manager Right click on Universal serial Bus (USB) Controller and select Uninstall > OK

Restart and you will have USB 2.0, yeah, I finally read the manual

Edit 1 - if you have SiSoft Sandra or similar, you can check the version #
