You are browsing within the review sections of our forums. Content within these sections reflect consumer opinions of laptops. Our admins take the best and most objective laptop reviews and index them here to create a distinct selection of quality reviews with averaged overall ratings. Many of these reviews have benchmarks attached to them which allows for users to compare their laptop's performance with others, and ultimately enables us to provide a sortable list which at a glance show the fastest laptops amongst a variety of applications (gaming, video editing, web browsing, etc...). Help us build a better laptop database by submitting your laptop review.

Smile Sony Vaio TX850 Review

Hey whats up everyone. its been a while since ive posted anything on this website so i thought id start up again. i just got my TX850 yesterday and all i can say is WOW...it is soooo sick. I no longer have to lug around my heavy A690. i can just take my new toy anywhere and be content with 9 hours of battery life instead of a measley 2.5 hours. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE MY A690. It is the first laptop i ever had and I never had any problems except for the silver finish fading on the side of the touchpad(Sony is no help when it comes to getting replacement parts). But to be honest,my A690 is meant to stay at home and that is how its gonna be. For those who dont know about the TX850, you can check out the specs on Sony's business solutions website.
i just thought id let you people know about my good news.
oh yeah one more thing... GO DODGERS!!!

Here are some pics of the TX850.

Haha it looks like your A690 just had a kid, but great review. I'm sure that extra battery life along with the immensely more portable factor is suiting your needs quite well.
