7800GTX powermizer working properly?

I can't tell if Powermizer is functioning properly on my CX7.

It seems to detect whether I'm on AC

or battery

Yet, the slider does not change. Do I have to manually adjust powermizer every time I plug and unplug?

thanks

ah well, I guess I just answered my own question... it appears there is a separate battery setting, but it is forced to max battery life no matter what, with no manual option available.

The only slider setting available is for AC power... guess I'll leave it on max performance, and just tolerate my crappy battery life when unplugged. Can't even watch a whole DVD all the way through. Plays the hell out of games on AC power though!

Actually i think thats an issue with the newest drivers from Nvidia. I have the same problem. A few driver sets back i had total control over the battery and AC sliders. Now im stuck with same thing. That is only since i upgraded the drivers.
