Beauty and the Beast (T43 vs E1705)

Thought I'd post now that I have a new laptop. Just got the E1705 a week ago...I figure it'll suit my multimedia purposes quite nicely, while my T43 does my school work and other non-multimedia tasks.

The E1705 is so thick, that the entire T43 only comes up to the palmrest.

As much as it killed me, I helped a friend assemble an E1505.

I really wanted her to get a Thinkpad. However, given the discounts that Dell was offering her and the fact that she doesn't like the trackpoint ( ), I put aside my preferences and helped her.

IBM laptops look very professional, elegant and simple, yet functional.
The best keyboard out there belongs to thinkpad line
