Quake 4 & m5550
I loaded Quake 4 from CD on the m5550 today and it ran great ... VERY fluid in Ultra Quality.
Then, I upgraded(?) to Point Release 1.3. It now runs like molasses! Even after turning on Dual Core CPU's in the Advanced Settings. I tried several things to get it to go at a decent speed but to no avail. I've got the nVidia drivers that came with my laptop. Anyone having this problem?

Why don't you just go back to the normal one where it ran really good and uninstall the 1.3 patch?
