Quake 4 & m5550 ... Why don't you just go back to the normal one where it ran really good and uninstall the 1.3 patch?

I loaded Quake 4 from CD on the m5550 today and it ran great ... VERY fluid in Ultra Quality.

Then, I upgraded(?) to Point Release 1.3. It now runs like molasses! Even after turning on Dual Core CPU's in the Advanced Settings.

I tried several things to get it to go at a decent speed but to no avail.

I've got the nVidia drivers that came with my laptop.

Anyone having this problem?
