Help Appreciated

So like hundreds of 9860's mine has failed. When I try to power it on, the blue ring of light comes on around the power button as well as the led clock in the front. And after a few seconds the 3 green lights that indicate whether capslock, numlock and one other (I've forgotten) start to blink.

Any tips on what the issue might be? I assume this is some sort of error code being sent from the mobo, but I haven't been able to find a spec sheet that tells me what it means.

Thanks

The flashing lights have a sequence that result in error codes and are also sometimes accompanied with a series of beeps. Please consult your models user manual for a list of these error codes or try to describe them here. Most times users see this is when the notebook is overheating while under stress and will shut it self down to prevent damage. This is what your notebook is doing so depending on the error code being generated you could have faulty hardware. Most fried motherboards will not boot or see activity at all. So hopefully you are experiencing some other type of issue.
