Sager 5760 or Wait for new models

I've been looking at the Sager 5760 for a few weeks now, and I really like it. I was thinking of buying it some time soon, until the new 8M series GPUs were released.

So, my question is, should I go ahead and buy the 5760 now with the 7950 card in it, or wait to buy a laptop with an 8600 card? Or wait even longer for some sort of card equivalent to the 8800 to be made for notebooks?

Am I going to see a serious change between the 7950 GTX 512 MB and an 8m Series?

The appeal of the 5760 now is the price break. The M570RU will cost more but the new wireless Draft N is pretty nice if it works like they say it will.

I dunno, I have the same concerns. I dont want to pay premium to upgrade esp. not knowing whether the systems (d900c, etc) will even be upgradeable at this point (and if they are, possible motherboard upgrade?!?). However, nvidia did mention on their website that they'll release the enthusiast series (88xx) in the summer. Question is how long will clevo take to integrate the new gpus into their systems? Assuming in the best case scenario that nvida does in fact release the new 88xx in the summer, how long will the gap be between the official release, and the shipping out date? I dont want to be too optimistic, so I'll assume that the new clevos will prob roll out sometime in sept/oct, august at the very best. Even worse, how much bloody time till everyone figures out a way to implement SLI 88xxm in laptops?? Despite all this, I think I'm going to wait that long (dread)...

The good news is that I think it's going to be worth the wait. The new 8800 GTX has astonishing capabilities, and I can only hope that the mobile version outperforms the 7950gtx by the same margin as its desktop sibling did. Furthermore, I think it's fair to say that the 200GB 7200rpm hitachi hard drives will be available by then. So again, lots to look forward to!
