why the switch ?

I remember when notebook foums was an actual usefuk tool. Why the switch ? ?

you may have noticed..............
and since they have then number of posts and replies have reduced greatly......

A lot of people complained about the 'cheeziness' of the new format when it was in development. Furthermore, the stytle chooser won't let me reset the style to the way it was before unless I log in to my old account first. And yeah, I've noticed the posting quality has declined in the last few months as well, not sure if the new interface is the reason why though...
