Browsing Trouble...
Hi, sorry to bother everyone, but I'm in dire need of assistance and the users of this forum have always been the most helpful and most intelligent. I'm having trouble browsing. When I browse the internet, I have to click links and load webpages 5-10 times because it tries to load but just never gets anywhere. Eventually, after an insane amount of clicking the same link, it will finally load, but sometimes without pics. Also, it sometimes just shows the code for the page...or some crazy gibberish text. Sometimes I get the RPC windows XP shutdown message, but it's rare.
It's not my connection because I use cable and DSL in different towns and it does the same thing both places. It can't be the browser because I removed and reinstalled firefox and it continued. I also tried Opera and IE, but the same thing happens. I tried removing/reinstalling my wireless card drivers, but that didn't help either. I've done scans with my avast antivirus and spybot S&D, but both have found nothing that could fix this. If anyone could give me any advice with this problem, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance. -Mike
