I've identified the problem with my 9750V but how to fix?
I'm one of the "lucky"ones who got screwed by the PCTorque warranty fiasco. My computer didn't boot and upon trying to reseat the vid card, I discovered that 2 of the 4 standoffs which secure the card by screws snapped clean off the MB. It works great if I hold the card down so it seats properly, but I can't live with that. I was thinking of crazy gluing the standoffs back on and seeing if that works, but perhaps someone has a better idea?

I had the same problem. What I did to fix it is to replace the standoffs in EXACTLY the same position, then use a long thin tip soldering iron, solder the standoffs back into place.
