memory mimitations Attn:Pat@Hypersonic

ok heres a question thats been on my mind a bit, more or less directed to Pat...sinec he's an actual employee of HS. Pat you know my system is a single core cx7 7800gtx etc. Well its got the older Intel®® Alviso 915PM+ICH6-M Mobile Motherboard and i was wondering that since now RAM has increased in amounts but remained the same 200 PIN sticks like instead of 512 or 1024 chips....is it possible to use a 2048 chip in each slot on this motherboard. I can't find any documentaion on the mobo limits of RAM except the socket limitations. Would it be possible to throw 4g RAM into an older cx7? I found this chip on newegg and was wondering if its possible b4 i go and try it...

would be nice to know i could upgrade to make vista run better.

Detox14:

This system will only support up to 2GB of memory, 1GB per slot.
