What Do I Need!!!

All I'm looking for is a Laptop that i can do my audio and Video recording on, that won't break the bank...($1200 max)

I need to be able to run Sonar 6 PE and a Giga sampler...

I would like one that has some good graphics for my video editing as well.

I have know idea what i Need to buy? i was looking at the Acer AS7720-6395, it comes with blue-ray and all that at a good price! but i don't know if it will do what i need it to do?

i know for the amount i want to spend I'm not going to get top of the line.

So i need some help finding the Laptop that is right for me!

For video and audio editing I recommend the following:

1GB of RAM (minimum), 2GB better.
The best CPU you can get according to budget. (1.6 ghz core 2 duo minimum, 1.8ghz or 2.0ghz better)
Dedicated graphics card. You'll see video and effects better.
7,200 RPM hard drives (most important)
Windows XP for the time being.

So far, looks like the Acer you mention is able to handle it. Just be ABSOLUTELY sure to get 7,200 rpm hard drives, these perform better for video editing and will prevent stuttering and/or capture errors. Especially if you plan on going Blu-Ray.
