Vista Status with 9860, 9880, 9890, 9750 Models

Using Windows Vista Home Premium on a 9890:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
STUFF THAT WORKS... SORTA:

Nvidia Video Drivers: v97.29 Available on Sager Website under the (9750) Model's Downloads
Benchmarks: 9-35fps in World of Warcraft Depending on Location / Detail Settings. Clearly Nvidia has fallen way behind on drivers for Vista at this current moment.

**NEW**25-40fps in Rainbow Six: Vegas # 1280x960 w/ Very Low Detail Settings.

Older games show no issues whatsoever. Still, surprising that a game like WoW which uses all old graphics technologies that have been available since DirectX 5 is having choppy performance on a 7800gtx

Realtek HD Audio: Also Available on Sager Website.

-Issues: Several Full Screen Games / Windows Media Center can cause the sound to become distorted like a skipping CD. Only Remedy I have found is restarting the computer.

SATA / Raid Drivers: The XP ones seem compatible.

WLAN Driver: Automatically acquired this driver through the Built in Windows Update feature

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
STUFF THAT DOESNT WORK AT ALL

Bisoncam: Automatically Acquired this driver through the built in Windows Update Feature

- Issues: Despite the driver appears to function, anytime the camera is accessed or attempted to be used the system hangs and is only remedied by a Reboot of the machine.

Hotkey Keyboard: No Driver Available
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having Performance issues but I don't think it's video related.
my games run great, but they ALL get these incredible slowdown periods where it willl drop down to nothing. like it's loading or something.. every game I play seems to do it..

I think we need some mainboard drivers, my shutdowns also don't work properly.

Yippee! I can reboot Vista on 9750!
And when I close the lid it even goes to sleep! Woohoo!... finally...
The 98.09 NVidia driver (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/index....3&type=1&dir=1) finally fixed that issue. It needs the modded inf.
I also got the beta Vista drivers from Sager (http://www.sagernotebook.com/pages/n...oductType=9750). One fixes the camera, the others don't seem much different from the default Vista drivers.
