linux and lame school programs
Need to run mymathlab.com for my current math class. Of course... it gives me a very straight forward "install windows or go kill yourself"

currently considering vmware as an alternative. do wanna try wine+ie though... currently the suse repos are down (server hardware failed) so i cant install wine

Yep I would be getting the MathXL installation Wizard page mself, so try WINE or Crossover and IE.
Seablade Side note, please for folks curious feel free to pay for Crossover as they employ several lead developers on WINE. Plus you get the very handy bottle functionality. |

Actually I thought STEAM worked under WINE?

steam runs under wine just fine. the games might be a bit tricky though
|
