Vista 32 refers to the 32 bit version of Vista. Vista 64 refers to the 64 bit version of Vista. The type of drivers you are using won't vary from the different feature set versions of Windows such as Ultimate, Home Premium, etc. But it is very important to know if you are using the 32 bit or 64 bit version.

Also, you shouldn't download the chipset drivers from Intel. You should download them from Sager or use the drivers that came on the CD with the computer. The manufacturer's chipset drivers are generic and often won't work properly with specific OEM systems. The same goes for all your drivers.

OK, I see the problem. You want to run Vista on an older computer that doesn't support Vista from the manufacturer.

I've managed to get a couple of unsupported systems up and running with Vista using non standard drivers including my old Sager 5720. The trick is to find the closest hardware that does support Vista and try those drivers to see if you can get them working. Without knowing off the top of my head what chipset the 9890 uses, look at similar Sagers with the same chipset that may have Vista drivers. If you don't have any luck look at similar Clevo systems from other brands. You can even try drivers from other types of notebooks altogether if they have the same hardware. You may also find that the generic drivers installed by Vista work just fine also.

It's all about experimenting and possibly reinstalling Vista several times until you get it right. It depends on how motivated you are to get Vista running on an usupported machine.
