Need laptop for game and computer programming

Hello i am new to these forums but have recently joined because i am looking at buying a new laptop for college and need something that will be able to play games well and program games. ive been searching for a laptop now for a while but think if i had a few others with some ideas i could a better deal for what i need.

I have no more than $900 to spend

any suggestions?

Like I posted to the other guy....check out what ASUS has to offer. They have a great lineup in that price range with decent graphics cards.

Got the laptop on my sig for $865+tax new from bestbuy. first time buyer at a retailer and my first toshiba. So far so good and for the price it is hard to beat.

Sorry for the late reply didnt see this thread updated till now. Well bestbuy (I usually dont even look there to purchase laptops) had a sale on this particular model which was up for like a week but currently dead. It was actually $999+tax on there site but when I went in-store they knocked it off a little more for $865 (not sure why) so I took the deal. Anyways, you can see it here.
