Inspiron 5100 power cord
The power cord on my inspiron 5100 recently fell apart. I'm kind of a cheapo so I bought one on ebay for only $17 (the ones on the dell website were 75). The new cord was not made by dell and when I plugged it in and turned on my computer, it started beeping at me and the message on the screen said that the power cord was not supported.
What does that mean? Am I going to have to break down and buy the one from dell or is there some way I can configure the computer to accept this one? |
