I picked mine up for $ 1200.00 on Ebay, it was only a couple of months old.

As configured it would have been around $2500.00 -$3000.00 in Canada

I am sure you can get them at a better price on Dells Outlet site.

You can use a program called i8kfangui to control the fans on your computer manually. I don't know if this will help you but you can try.

The word you are looking for is "cooler".

Another thing you might want to do is open up your laptop and clean it out. There may be dust in there preventing the laptop from cooling properly.
