BimmerE30 is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
ok, got home, tore down the m6811 again.... was right there about to take out the internal memory when i notice the ribbon connector from the usb/media card reader was not completely on straight to the motherboard.... must have been me from last time i tore it down..... anyway unclipped the ribbon strip and put it back in so it was straight..... started right up.... thanks for your patience and your willingness to help QHN, soon I will have the hard drive here and then more fun begins... I couldnt find a 120gb 7200rpm for a decent price, and I only found one..... So i got a 120gb seagate 5400rpm 8mb cache..... hoping it will produce great results. Thanks again
