G50V 9700M GT drivers...

Can anyone point me to the latest and greatest VGA drivers for my card..
The asus support guy says all the Nvidia drivers are "unified"..??
He directed me to a Vista 64 VGA driver on the ASUS support site... I am used to having Vid card specific drivers... Does anyone have any thoughts on this..??
Thanks in Advance
Scot

Nvidia tries to make all their drivers compatible with every Nvidia video card. This used to only apply to desktop video cards, but now all 8 series, 9 series, and GT* series mobile video cards are supported by default as well. That's what the Asus rep meant when he said Nvidia's drivers were "unified". You can go to Nvidia.com and download the latest driver yourself.

Any news on this? Have you tried the driver out yourself? I tend not to install any drivers that not come via the automatic update since moving to Vista and now Windows 7 - unless there is a specific known issue

cheers ...
