5797 bluetooth won't turn on
I've had my NP5797 for a few months now and it's been great, for the most part (other than the fan sounding like a winch under load). When I first got the laptop, I played around with all the switches and I remember the bluetooth radio turning on then, but I've never had need to use it. Now, though, I can't get the bluetooth radio to turn on. It's supposed to be controlled along with the 802.11 wireless by 'Fn + F11', with three states: both off (indicator light is off), 802.11 only (indicator light is green) and 802.11 & Bluetooth (indicator light is orange). Now, however, the indicator only cycles between off and green (802.11 only). No matter which state it's in, the OS doesn't detect the presence of any Bluetooth hardware.
Has anyone else seen this or have any suggestions? Thanks, Noah |

I've got a 5797 as well and on mine, FN+F10 is the webcam, FN+F11 is wifi, and FN+F12 is Bluetooth.
