NP2090--audio problems?

Hi, I'm having some audio problems with my np2090. I can't set my default audio driver to anything--the whole screen is greyed out when I try to do so. I looked in the device manager, and one of the drivers has a little yellow ! next to it: Microsoft WINMM WDM Audio Compatibility Driver. The problem is: "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)"
What should I do about this? Part of me wants to just uninstall it and try to reinstall it, but I can't find this driver anywhere. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks a bunch
