Exclamation Gateway MT3422 Review

this laptop has been nothing but a total nighmare. the wireless connection never stays connected and no one can seem to figure out what the issue is. gateway just sends you on a wild goose chase of links to try reconfiguring your network settings, which after 2 hrs of messing with it, doesn't work anyway. the rest of the machine is nice, great screen, great price, but who cares how cheap it is if you can't get online? at that point, it becomes a $600 paper weight. Oh, and its so great taking your laptop to the coffee shop and nevre being able to get online. it seems like I am not the only one with this issue:

don't waste your money.

@JohnDaly - I can sympathise with you regarding the frustration of wifi connectivity, but Gateway is not alone, with certain models, in having the problem with wifi card performance. The connectivity setup issues that you described, I experienced with my MSI. It finally was being resolved by replacing the Realtek card with a cheap Aethros one.

cheers ...
