9890 Video Card questions
Hey all,
I've got a question on video card replacements for a 9890 motherboard. It's a V6.2N and currently running an NVidia GeForce GO 6800. It's having problems when I play any of my shooters, after a while the screen goes black and the laptop stops responding. I contacted Sager to see what video cards it can handle and they say an NVidia Geforce 7950 GTX. Does that mean it can handle any card in between the 6800 and 7950? I also think I read somewhere that a 7950 would require a more powerful AC adapter? I found a used 7950 on ebay for $500, that's way too much! I can't find any 6800-7950 cards from retailers! Anyone have suggestions?

Keep looking or put a post in the For Sale/Want to buy section. GPUs are simply expensive, if you can find them.
cheers ...
