I jumped the board on B16 and C16 and when you boot it goes till about 3/4 of the bios loading and it freezes. (this is with the 90w psu) However if I use a 65w psu BIOS finishes but tells me that I am using a 65W psu and that I will have decreased performance. When it boots into windows my speed is at 800mhz. I checked the BIOS while on the 65w psu and it says current clock speed 800mhz, min clock speed 800mhz and maximum clock speed 2.13ghz.

I don't know what else to do now to make it work. Thanks in advanced.
Sorry to say but looks like the chip can't take it. With the right power supply, the laptop actually sets the highest multiplier (which would now give 2.13) and it freezes (unstable). But if you use the 65W the laptop forces into lowest multiplier and it's stable at the lowest multiplier...

Very much in agreement here. If not the notebook will become an expensive door stop within seconds.

Nope every time I click on one of the photos (from the first post of this thread) to try to see a blown up view I get get the standard V bulletin error

  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

Tried it again, even tried using a diffrent computer. Is it a problem not unique to me? Can anyone else click and get and enlarged photo? I'm specifically trying to see the picture of the motherboard/chassis

Looking at the 1st post of the thread I have no issue with clicking on the thumbnails and seeing a larger pic. This is using FF, IE8, Chrome and Safari.

Are you still experiencing the same issue as you stated in your above post? Or did you get a new error message?

Which browser are you using, and its version?

cheers ...

I have tried FF 3.5, IE 6.0, (two diffrent machines) and Opera 9.7 Its gotta be a permissions issue. I'd sign up for a new account but... I only have one .edu email. Everything else is gmail and they get blocked :/

Nah, you don't need another account. Must be something else (what I do not yet know). Are you accessing NBF away from home?

cheers ...
