MrSmileyJr has a few people on his/her side.
After nearly a year, I have decided to repurchase the m1210 and do the screen swap. I would love it if ugg would tell us any new info this year of experience has given him.

A few questions:
Have you had any problems?

How is battery life?

Can you provide pics of your setup pref even better if you can compare it with an unmodded m1210, so the rest of us can make a decision about this.

If ugg would be willing to do this, (maybe even a few of us can chip in and donate a few bucks for the effort) if we can get a few pics of the internal parts - wat was swapped.... (I am probably going to buy a 710m screen on ebay and then sell of the m1210 screen... so only need pics of the m1210).

I am planning to put in a decent amount of research into this in order to make this as smooth as possible, including any potential issues we have later - like brightness....

I will PM ugg to make sure he knows about this new post and can respond here for us....

yeah i agree, this is something i would really like to do, a 700m screen can be had off ebay for around 100 bucks and i think that is a great investment. We just need as much info as humanly possible. What are the drawbacks of doing this (if any)?
