Interested in SR7
Hello,
I've been out of the laptop purchasing sphere for a few years now and a lot of has changed, including this website! The last time I was here I was shopping for my Dell XPS m1700 (think that's it), which seems to be dying on me now. Because I am an a college student and will need my laptop ASAP I steered myself away from Dell's. Also I feel their options tend to be a little restrictive in comparison with other laptops. After browsing through some laptop company's that I remember researching in the past I came across hypersonic. The SR7 looks like a good match for me, but I don't see any reviews on this website to verify my suspicions. Perhaps this is because it is not the most hardcore of gaming laptops available and that is what people around here shoot for? I am looking for something to do function as my school laptop where I mostly do work in office, browse the internet, use itunes, aim, and occasionally nowadays will play some games. The other laptop I have been looking into is the Dell XPS 16, but this one seems to be more favorable in price and shipping date. Also I like the fact that the SR7 has 1900x1200 resolution. Is there a downside to this model, that is why I am not seeing reviews? Is this what I really want? Thanks, below are the specs of the model. Specs look good, will support what you mentioned above. Hypersonic is like Sager, a cult notebook ;-) appealing to certain users and owners.
cheers ...
