CMOS battery in a Sager 9890?

Hi, Everybody --

I'm having some problems with my wife's 9890. I'm getting an "Operating system not found" BSOD on bootup, and I'm trying to walk through the possible problems. (The hard drive checks out fine; getting to the BIOS with F2 is a random event -- sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't; even getting the initial Sager splash screen is random -- the times it doesn't come up, the hard-drive light comes on and stays there, with a completely black screen and no other activity). I'm wondering if it's the CMOS battery, but (a) I'm not sure that the computer even *has* a CMOS battery, and (b) I can't figure out how to access it if it does. Do any of you know the answer to either (a) or (b) or (preferably!) both?

Thanks a million!

Every PC has a CMOS battery. IT's what keeps your bios settings correct when you turn off your PC or remove your battery.
