Dented my display cover.....how to?

This happened few weeks ago and I'm tired of looking at it.
Any ideas of how I can fix these nasty scratches?
I thought about some Scotch Brite pads....or buff with 600-1000 grit wet dry sandpaper?
Replacement of the display shell?

I'll give that a try.
The slight dent and deep gouge might be a problem though.
Last thing I'm gonna do is whip out the Bondo, prime and paint the damn thing like a 67 Camaro
Let you know how it turns out.

The dents and nicks don't bother me much.
I was going to try and sell it before the dent occurred though.
Might not get a s much for it now.

Looking to upgrade to a newer MBP.

Oh well.

Yeah....I'm waiting for the i7's.
The i7's do sound like a more of a vertical upgrade over my current MBP.
I really didn't see much of an upgrade over my somewhat "older" Macbook Pro with the latest Macbook Pro models out now.

It's still a good laptop.

Ouch. Yeh that's the problem when dealing with cosmetically appealing notebooks. Got to be super careful.

Sensible. I am holding off (saving up) for the "upcoming" i7 myself - if they ever decide to get in gear. My 3.1 model is still running, superbly

cheers ...
