finally got everything installed. the screen that came with the fx was pretty nice, but i prefer the 1920x1200 res so after some hesitation, and becouse i need to send in my 1730 again to depot, the fx is going to be my every day machine... the screen wasn't too bad, just tore off the top mount and bent the inverter cage to accommodate the original gateway inverter, and it works awesome! i was a bit worried about the brightness settings but i have 7 which is plenty. almost seems brighter than the 1730's screen? pretty happy so far. i ended up using my spare spare t9300 cpu and one 160 gb and a 500gb hd. sweet machine
