Sager 9880 Windows 7 64bit

Anyone get the RC installed with the Promise Fasttrack 378 raid controller? I can't find the 64 bit drivers that work (tried Sager's 64 bit) but no go.
Any ideas out there or do we not have the ability to upgrade to Win7 64bit?

So there isn't anyone that has gotten Windows 7 working with the Promise raid controller, really!??
I emailed Promise and they said contact manufacturer of laptop....

Once again, Sager strikes out when it comes to 64 bit compatibility with their laptops. Make a 64 bit laptop but only put out a few BETA 64 bit drivers for XP none the less (and not all the hardware was even supported on my 9880 which at the time was less than one year old.)
Perhaps it was Microsoft's problem partly for lack of support for 64 bit? Don't know, just frustrated....
Won't buy another Sager that's for sure.

Have you tried to get in direct contact with Sager and get their side of the story? But I agree that it is a shame for any lacking of 64 bits drivers from any manufacturers nowadays.

cheers ...

Yes, Sager was no help saying Vista 64 drivers were never fully released for 64bit.
