is300gte is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
Does anyone know what type of connector this is?

I would like to adapt one of these connectors to (preferably) a usb connector, or at least get a pin out of what each of these pins represent.

Can anyone offer help/advice?

This is the webcame from an HP dv9000 laptop.

Some googling indicates it might be a jst connector?

Looks like the unit is a lcd inverter and the pins is where the wire goes that connects it to the motherboard. I deal with alot of hp repairs and can't recall coming across something like that in a dv9000 series besides a inverter. If it has a part number on it, let me know it and I could be much more specific.
