Dell WWAN card: PCI oder USB connected?
In Windows did the Dell WWAN mini-pci card showed up as pci/network-card or USB/modem device?
I think about using the UMTS modem from a virtual machine, and as I know that would be only available with USB connected devices. |

The integrated WAN Cards that I've played with all connect via USB. The Sprint 5720 that I have most definitely connects using the USB portion of that second Minicard slot.
