Hi ghn,

thanks for this hint. Maybe you have an explicit drive name and model of a suitable 160 GB drive?

Thanks a mil,
Joachim

I have no brand preference, telling you the truth. I own and use any hard drive brands that you find out there with no issue so far. Stay with high rpm drives if you can, and the higher the buffer speed the better.

Hi qhn,

you mean the Satellite Pro M10´s BIOS has no 128 GB HDD detection limit? Moreover, the Satellite Pro M10 doesn´t neccessarily physically accept any HDD drive: The reason is that some HDD´s physical IDE connector is covered by some plastic cover and therefore doesn´t fit into the M10´s HDD slot. Therefore I was asking for a specific brand and type of a new HDD. Just to give you an idea why I was asking.

Kind regards,
Joachim

Here is one that you can take a look at and use as reference. Worst is that you can partition it into 2 (120+40) and use it also.
