Purchased a new laptop last summer with Win Vista Home Premium. I created the Toshiba Recovery Discs and the Applications and Drivers disc as soon as I set up the new system.
A few days ago I upgraded to Window 7 using the FREE Upgrade from Toshiba. My DUH moment happened when I RECREATED the Toshiba Recover Discs and Toshiba Applications and Drivers Discs and titled them Windows 7 Recovery Discs. (Thinking I now had both Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 Recovery Discs) DUH! I fully realized what happend as I was more than half way through creating all the "New" discs. DUH DUH!!! |

You know I just replaced a Toshiba laptop that had previously died. I must say the UI for restoring the laptop to default settings was amazingly craptastic, they need to fire whoever was in charge of that model's recovery system.
Gladly I got it fixed ![]()
